The Santa Barbara High School Varsity Boys' Water Polo Team will be traveling to Hungary and Croatia this August, leaving on August 4 and returning August 20. Mark Walsh will be travelling as the boys' coach. Chaperones are Tom Ploch, Dave Peterson, and Lawrence and Evelyn Gamble. During the trip, the boys, chaperones and coach will be able to post photographs and descriptions of their adventures.

The guys should have some great experiences on this trip. The play against the Europeans should toughen them up for a fine high school season as well. My thanks to the coach and chaperones for being there for them.
Regards, Bill Masho

Well hello to all....i miss all of you boys...my house is way too quiet and my candy jar is full! Of course Jeff would be the one vaulted into the air...He and his brother have been practicing that maneuver for years! And remember what Dr. Barnwell always said-its what you eat in a week that matters, not what you eat at every meal. Thanks to you Mark for allowing the boys this awesome opportunity and to you lucky chaperones, have fun! Julie

The blog is great. Thanks for the updates on the boys. Nick and Ken it was great to talk with you this morning. You sound great as do your teammates (from the cheerful sounds in the background). Yes, Nick Ken may grow a beard as long as you make sure to take a picture of it for me. I'm sure the pizza tasted great especially following your meal of carrots, peas and broccoli. Enjoy!
